I’ve been very bad with keeping this blog updated with my various knitting projects, so here are some things that I’ve knitted over the last several months.

This is a jacket I made from a mystery bag of yarn and a pattern from Garnstudio Drops Design. I like the patterns from Garnstudio, but I find that I often have to go a size below what it says I that I need for my measurements, because their patterns are often very loose.

The proper name for this stitch escapes me at the moment, and for some reason the name for it wasn’t included in the pattern. Anyway, it’s some sort of diamond-shaped cables and eyelets sort of deal.

This jumper is made from another pattern from Garnstudio. I changed the collar from one that had to be button up to a simple round one. I used up the rest of the mystery yarn from the purple jacket in this jumper.

I bought some skeins of Cascade Cotton Rich, while I was in the US. It’s a nice cotton and nylon blend. I didn’t really get enough to make a sweater or anything, so I just made a two-colour syncopated brioche stitch scarf.

Two-colour syncopated brioche stitch can be a bit tricky when you first start out, but I find that once you get into the rhythm of it, that it just starts whizzing by. It makes for a nice undulating pattern.
That’s all for today. See you again in another couple of months.
